Delicious food nice atmosphere

Very nice ambience. Amazingly empty on a Friday night. Very tasty food, attentive service.

3 years ago we were in this restaurant - at least in the same rooms. It was a very cozy "parlor", decorated in an old fashioned way with good, down-to-earth cuisine. When we returned to Wittenberg, we were already looking forward to eating there. Unfortunately we had to find out that a new owner had thoroughly cleaned up the old-fashioned charm. The rooms looked like a snack bar to us - cool and uninviting. There are already too many such run-of-the-mill shops. So we went back without having tried the kitchen. Of course, we can't say anything about them.

Cozy place on the square. We only got beer and water. Nice toilets.

Waitress was rude and the glass dirty. After sitting down, I received a call I had too take. When the waitress came to take the order she interrupted my call, so I told her if she could wait a few minutes. When she brought the coffee for my friend I finished my call and was ready to order, but she ignored me. Only after 15 minutes I was able to get her attention and the glass in which she finally brought the soda I ordered was dirty. That's why this restaurant was a completely unpleasant visit for me.

Even in the time of the Corona editions, everything to the fullest satisfaction, friendly service, excellent food and I hope that this restaurant still exists forever.

The food was delicious, in my opinion the optimal amount for the respective price. Special requests were also met without problems and the service was super nice. Gladly again, even if it is a bit away for us. :)

We were here for Christmas and the menu was adjusted accordingly. The dishes have a nice Christmas touch. In any case, it tasted very good to us. The meat melted on the tongue and I really liked the Thuringian dumplings, even though I grew up in the Thuringian Forest. I can't say anything about the standard card, of course, but I will definitely try it again.

Full stars because the food was heavenly, the food was hot and delicious. For the quality of the food, the price-performance ratio is right. The menu is small, but you get fresh and seasonal ingredients. The bread is baked in-house and is delicious. The service was always friendly and courteous, despite the fact that the restaurant was completely full. We are very excited and would love to come back.

I have never eaten so well in Wittenberg. Everything was very well seasoned. The salmon I ate and the schnitzel of my company were really great. The service has also been excellent.

A small (!) Portion of cheese spaetzle with dried fried onions costs 11,90 €. Shortly after us, two unfortunate young cyclists came in and decided in view of the prices to share a drink and a portion of Spätzle ... Wrong address, you two. Nearby it would have been twice the amount for the same price.

Nice restaurant with good kitchen. Yesterday I was there for the second time and this time to the complete satisfaction. Keep it up, something Wittenberg can do well.
